====== Account & Access Help ======

This page covers getting an account, logging in, and fixing common access issues across TwilightTV's services.

===== Getting an Account =====

Accounts aren't self-service yet, but we are working on it. — for now, ping an admin on [[https://discord.gg/ZzqCWcxVDP|The Twilight Zone's Discord]] and they'll set you up. Let them know which services you need access to (most people just need Jellyfin, which also covers Seerr).

===== Which Login Works Where =====

| Seerr     | Signs in **using your Jellyfin account** — click "Sign in with Jellyfin". Seerr does have a local login if needed, usually the same password as Jellyfin. |

| Wiki      | Separate account — set up individually by an admin               |

===== Logging In =====

Go to the service's URL (see the [[:start|home]] for the full list) and enter your username and password.

===== Forgot Your Password? =====

Jellyfin, ROMM, and the wiki don't have self-serve "forgot password" email resets on this setup just yet— reach out to an admin on [[https://discord.gg/ZzqCWcxVDP|Discord]] and they'll reset it for you.

===== Changing Your Password =====

Once logged into Jellyfin:

  - Click your **profile icon** (top right)
  - Go to **Profile**
  - Under **Password**, enter your current password and choose a new one
  - Click **Save**

Since Seerr signs in through Jellyfin, changing your Jellyfin password also updates your Seerr login — you don't need to do anything separately there. If you need to use manual Seerr login, let the admin know when you change the password so they can reset Seerr's.

For ROMM or wiki password changes, ask an admin in the [[https://discord.gg/ZzqCWcxVDP|Discord's]]. passwords discussions channel.

===== Updating Your Profile =====

In Jellyfin, the same **Profile** page lets you:

  * Set a **display name**
  * Upload a **profile picture**
  * Adjust playback preferences (subtitle/audio defaults, etc.)

===== Common Issues =====

^ Problem                                  ^ What to try                                                        ^
| "Invalid username or password"           | Double-check caps lock; if it still fails, ask an admin for a reset, , sometimes Seerr has amnesia. |
| Seerr says "not authorized" after Jellyfin login | Ask an admin to confirm your Jellyfin account has request permissions enabled. |
| Can log into Jellyfin but not ROMM/wiki  | These use separate accounts — ask an admin to set one up for you   |
| Logged in on one device, but another device asks to log in again | This is normal — Jellyfin sessions are per-device, not shared automatically. |
